Why the switch from ThrottleStop to Intel XTU in latest version of Obsidian Tools?

Hello,

I have noticed that the latest update of the Obsidian Tools now relies on Intel XTU for overclocking instead of ThrottleStop, which was installed when  I bought my laptop.

What are the reasons for this switch? Is Intel XTU more reliable? More powerful? More tweakable?

    There are two main problems:
    - TS does not allow Shared Memory or TCP communication with our apps (so that we can have included settintgs in our Control Station).
    - Some AV software block TS because it´s using a WinRing method.
