Noise levels

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy one of your laptops.

Interested with 17", 7800, 32G and GTX 1080, since I will be retiring my Asus 4820HQ GTX880

My main concerns are the noise levels when playing, and the battery runtime in medium load.
Due to my work, I travel sometimes, and althought I can go ahead with 5kgs, I would need at least 3 hours.

About the sound, I would go with something about 45db in high load

Any recomendation?
I'm from Spain

Thanks!

    Hello
First let me tell you that we give FULL 2 year warranty with included free Pickup and Return for Spain.
The highest noise you can get from a laptop like the P775DM3-G is around 35db with the Automatic Fan profile going to the max.
As for battery, if your just doing light stuff you can expect up to 2h and 30m, that´s the trade off with this level of performance.

Only 35db?? So you're saying that I can play games at high res and that will be around 35db?
    That's awesome!

35 is the max, usually it is bellow that on most games.

And with the HQ mobile chips do you get more power saving and similar noise? Or is it a special config only for desktop chips?

I actually believe HQ models have more noise... 3 fans instead of two, fans are smaller and thinner so higher pitch sound and higher rotation.

Hummm why did you select the QHD 120z and then update to LCD 4K?
    That does not make sense.

If you want the 4K screen, select like this:
    +P775DM3-G NVIDIA GTX 1080 8GB
    +Upgrade LCD to 4K 100% Adobe RGB
(4K 65hz NON G-SYNC IPS High Color Gamut)

If you want the QHD 120hz select only:
    +P775DM3-G NVIDIA GTX 1080 8GB - QHD 120Hz
    (QHD 120hz G-SYNC TN)

The 4K screen is not G-SYNC, that´s a screen for work (photo and video), it will be a slow screen and more "blurry" in FPS style games.

The QHD 120hz screen is a for gaming, it´s a really fast screen, with refresh rate and fast response time with G-SYNC.

Btw if you select only this:

    +P775DM3-G NVIDIA GTX 1080 8GB
    (75hz G-SYNC 1080p IPS)
without the screen upgrade then you get a LCD that will be in the middle of those two above, it´s faster then the 4K so you can play games and will have better image quality then the QHD so you can also work with it.
